Succulent sweet peppers are a day or two from ready-to-harvest. Their dense canopy makes each dangling pepper a well concealed surprise.

And then there are the artichokes. Still early, but pretty as a picture. Hopefully this heat wave will break soon so that they don’t stall out.
Such bounty! It’s almost a shame to have dinner reservations out tomorrow when the veggies are ripening and ready…
