Honey Bees

As a child, all flying, buzzing, stinging insects were "bees". I remembered this when one of my nephews evolved through this familiar phase from my own childhood. Spotting and announcing, "Bee!", whenever a flying, buzzing, stinging insect was present. But little by little I ( and my nephew) learned to differentiate between these airborne neighbors. And with discerning evolved respect for Honey Bees (Apis mellifera).
